What factors influence the cutting parameters of high-speed machining centres?

The high-speed machining centre CNC machining process of the part being machined involves a wide range of issues, the following combined with the possibility and convenience of programming some of the main elements that must be analyzed and reviewed.
1. Size labeling should be in line with the characteristics of high-speed machining centre CNC machining

In the high-speed machining centre  CNC programming, all points, lines, surface dimensions and positions are based on the programming origin. Therefore, the part diagram is given directly to the coordinate size, or as far as possible to the same datum cited size.

2. The conditions of the geometric elements should be complete and accurate

In the programming, the programmer must fully grasp the parameters of the geometric elements that make up the contour of the part and the relationship between the geometric elements. Because all geometrical elements of the part profile are defined during automatic programming and the coordinates of each node are calculated during manual programming, programming cannot be carried out regardless of which point is unclear or uncertain. However, due to poor consideration or being overlooked by the part designer during the design process, parameters are often incomplete or unclear, such as whether an arc is tangent to or intersects or departs from a straight line, or an arc from a circle. So in the review and analysis of drawings, must be careful, found in time with the designer of the problem.

3. Reliable positioning reference

In CNC machining, the processing process is often more concentrated, with the same benchmark positioning is very important. Therefore, it is often necessary to set some auxiliary benchmarks, or in the blank to increase some process tabs. The part shown in figure a below, in order to increase the stability of positioning, can be added to the bottom surface of a process tab, as shown in figure b below. Remove it after the positioning process has been completed.

4. Uniform geometric type or size

A uniform geometry type or size is used for the shape and cavity of the part, which reduces the number of tool changes and also makes it possible to apply control programs or procedures to reduce the length of the program. The shape of the part is as symmetrical as possible to facilitate programming using the mirror machining function of the CNC machine to save programming time.
