What is your opinion when it comes to the performance of slant-bed CNC lathes?

The slant bed type is a very versatile product type, which is relatively easy and simple to apply. But if we want to put it to good use, then we need to know what its performance and functions are.

Slant bed CNC lathe is a very common type of machine tool in the machine tool industry, mainly used for the production and processing of instruments, electrical appliances, connectors, automobile and motorcycle parts, clocks and watches, glasses, photographic equipment, stationery, lighters, decorations and other accessories, and has the ability to process internal and external threads as well as small high-precision spherical, tapered and super slender shaped workpieces.
Equipped with multi-station turret or power turret, the machine tool then has a wide range of process performance and can process linear cylindrical, sloping cylindrical, circular arc and various threads, slots, worm gears and other complex workpieces, with linear interpolation, circular arc interpolation various compensation functions, and has played a good economic effect in the mass production of complex parts.

The bed of a slant-bed CNC lathe is a right-angle triangle. Obviously, in the case of the same guide width, the X-directional trailing plate of the sloping bed is longer than that of the flat bed, which is applied to the lathe in the practical sense that more tool positions can be arranged. The cross-sectional area of the inclined bed CNC lathe is larger than that of the flat bed of the same specification, i.e. it is more resistant to bending and torsion.
