What do you think about the environmental requirements for pipe threading lathes?

Pipe threading lathe consists of three series:Firstly, horizontal lathe with processing diameter Φ400-1600mm and length 750-10000mm, secondly, pipe threading lathe with spindle aperture Φ130-440mm, and thirdly, various big hole lathes, big head lathes and machine tools with spindle aperture Φ130-440mm. The products are widely used in machinery manufacturing, petroleum, chemical, coal, geological exploration, urban water supply and drainage and other industries for mechanical processing.

As the temperature rises, many users are struggling with the use of pipe threadinging lathe with or without lowering the temperature, in order to solve the user’s doubts, the following will come together to see the requirements of its use on the environment.

Requirement one, the power supply is usually installed in the machining workshop, not only does the ambient temperature change greatly and the conditions of use are poor, but there are also many kinds of electromechanical equipment, resulting in large fluctuations in the power grid. Therefore, the location where the threading lathe is installed requires strict control of the power supply voltage. The fluctuation of the supply voltage must be within the permissible range and remain relatively stable. Otherwise, the normal operation of the CNC system will be affected.

Requirement two, the ambient temperature of the threading lathe is less than 30 degrees and the relative temperature is less than 80%. Generally, the CNC electronic control box is equipped with an internal exhaust fan or chiller to keep the electronic components, especially the central processor, operating at a constant temperature or with minimal temperature difference variation. Excessive temperature and humidity will result in a reduced life of the control system components and lead to increased failures. Increases in temperature and humidity and increased dust will create bonding in the integrated circuit boards and lead to short circuits.

Requirement three, the lathe should be located away from vibration sources, should avoid the effects of direct sunlight and thermal radiation, and avoid the effects of humidity and air currents. If there is a vibration source near the machine tool, the machine tool should be set up around the anti-vibration groove. Otherwise, it will directly affect the processing accuracy and stability of the machine tool, and will make the electronic components contact poorly and malfunction, affecting the reliability of the machine tool.
